Mohammad received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, cum laude, from Wayne State University. He later earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
While in law school, Mohammad supplemented his classroom learning with practical experience. He interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, where he applied his research and writing abilities to make positive contributions to both the criminal and civil divisions. Mohammad then clerked for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company’s in-house counsel, where he gained practical experience in defense of cases involving commercial, homeowners, and no-fault claims. Along with research and writing, Mohammad regularly attended motions, pre-trial hearings, depositions, and case evaluations.
Mohammad has also served as a student attorney with the Juvenile Appellate Clinic, where he assisted in the representation of children in termination of parental rights proceedings. He later joined Zausmer, August & Caldwell, first as a law clerk and then as an associate attorney following his graduation from law school.
Mohammad is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his family.
