After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Michigan State University, Logan earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School, where he developed his advocacy talents by participating in Moot Court and Mock Trial, and volunteering in the school’s Civil Rights Clinic. As a student attorney at the Clinic, he helped speech-impaired plaintiffs across Michigan pursue their rights to Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement for needed communication devices. Much of Logan’s work involved identifying potential claimants, and he liaised with skilled nursing facilities, language pathologists, and advocacy groups to bring awareness to the issue.
Beginning in the summer after his first year of law school, Logan clerked for Cincinnati Insurance’s local staff counsel, where he gained practical experience in the defense of cases involving commercial, construction, employment, and no-fault claims. His superior research, writing, and investigative skills contributed to favorable outcomes in several cases. He joined Zausmer, August & Caldwell as a law clerk during his third year of law school.
Logan is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Lions, and just about every team that Michigan State University fields.
