Over the course of his legal career, Jeremy has successfully handled a host of first-party no-fault and third-party automobile negligence claims, complex product liability cases, premises liability, and residential landlord-tenant disputes, with one consistent guarantee – if a plaintiff, witness, or expert lies to him, he will uncover the truth and hold that person accountable.
In the matters Jeremy defends, fraud is all too common, which keeps him busy in his search for the truth. Exposing such fraud and misrepresentation can be difficult, like the case where the plaintiff, claiming a closed-head injury, attempted to use an address in another city as her home address on her insurance application to reduce her auto insurance premiums. Jeremy’s relentless investigation and discovery revealed that she enlisted multiple friends and family members to perpetuate the lie and hide the truth from Jeremy’s client. He brings this same doggedness and tireless effort to all of his cases, which earned him recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012 to 2015.
Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree, with distinction, in history from the University of Michigan, where he was an Evans Scholar and received a Convocation Award. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he served on the Moot Court Board of Directors and was the secretary for the Student Bar Association.
