Claudia graduated, cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2012. There, she quickly realized how useful her performance skills would be to her career in law. For example, she relied on her performance roots as a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, winning Best Oralist awards in national competitions. Claudia was also a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, an editor of the Law Review, and President of the Women’s Law Caucus.
Claudia obtained a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan and continued her musical studies at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she earned a Masters of Music degree in vocal performance.
Prior to joining Zausmer, August & Caldwell, Claudia served as in-house counsel for a market-leading insurance carrier, where she was responsible for a large docket of insurance defense matters from pre-suit to trial phase. Claudia takes pride in her detail-oriented approach to litigation. She is aggressive, relishes the art of trial advocacy, and never gives up.
Claudia divides her time between work and raising two young daughters with her husband. Singing and performance draw her still, and she takes advantage of any opportunity available to perform.
