An outstanding scholar, Jordan received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Communications, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, with dual minors in Political Science and Legal Studies. He then attended Michigan State University College of Law, where his superior performance from the onset led to an invitation to serve as a teaching assistant for the Academic Success Program, helping first-year students prepare for the rigor of law school. Jordan also supplemented his classroom learning through summer internships with the Michigan Supreme Court’s Michigan Judicial Institute, the Michigan Court of Appeals, and Senior Judge David McKeague of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
After earning his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from MSU in 2016 and passing the bar exam, Jordan returned to the Michigan Court of Appeals to further develop his legal writing skills as a Research Attorney. In addition to reviewing court transcripts, researching the law, and drafting opinions, he attended numerous appellate arguments to gain insights into effective oral advocacy.
An avid soccer player and fan, Jordan also enjoys tennis and the outdoors, taking advantage of Michigan summers to hike, fish, and kayak.
